  • Floor Yourself!

Has it been a while since you got down on the floor - to clean, to play with the grandkids, to dance or exercise? Many of us begin limiting our contact with the floor without even realizing it! This can happen for many reasons - stiff/inflexible joints, orthopedic conditions, pain - even fear of falling (and not being able to get back up!). Designed by Doctor of Physical Therapy Caitlin Steeves, this intro class will improve your relationship with the floor for safety and for fun over the course of 4 weeks as we gain the tools and skills to gain confidence with navigating up and down. Techniques during our 4 week course will include: - gentle PAIN-FREE joint mobility for stiff limbs (head to toe!) - balance work for safe progression both in class and at home - use of props (chairs, blocks, etc) to facilitate progress at your own pace - gentle lymphatic techniques to support health and wellness and your moving body Class space is limited to 6 people for a safe and individualized experience.
